It was an exciting week for the Burgum Sanford campaign. As we look forward to next week, Doug and Brent will continue to travel across North Dakota by meeting with voters in Bismarck, Fargo and Grand Forks.

News Summary …

With 60 days until Election Day, momentum continues to build for Doug Burgum as The Hill reports that he’s in a strong position to win. “Doug Burgum, a businessman … is likely to replace retiring Gov. Jack Dalrymple (R).”  

If you have a question for Doug, The Dickinson Press reports that voters across North Dakota will be given an opportunity to submit questions for the next debate. “Readers of North Dakota newspapers are invited to submit questions that could be posed to the three candidates for governor when they debate Oct. 3 in Bismarck. The debate featuring Democrat Marvin Nelson of Rolla, Republican Doug Burgum of Fargo, and Libertarian Marty Riske of Fargo will be hosted by The North Dakota Newspaper Association. The debate, which will be open to the public, will be held at the historic Belle Mehus Auditorium in downtown Bismarck. The candidates will be questioned by a panel of newspaper journalists from around the state, but the questions will come, in large part, from newspaper readers. Readers can submit question ideas by email to The Press at”
